Advertising and Links on Cook Venison
I allow some advertising on this site to help pay to costs of keeping the site live on the internet. I do use some affiliate links on the site, but I retain full control over what I link to, except for any "contextual ads" that might be on the site. Those ads are generally the ads that say "Ads by Google" and they're based on whatever content is on the page--as in they are supposed to be "in-context" with whatever I've written on that page. Assume if you click through a link that I might be getting a commission if you purchase a product (affiliate links) or a fee for the click (contextual ads).
